The Wizard of Legend Double Trouble: Strategies for Success

As someone who has beaten the game despite initially being skeptical about certain arcana, I'm happy to share my experience and provide tips on how to tackle the challenging boss fights in Wizard of Legend. While arcana can be important, they're not necessarily essential to success.

Mobility is Key

One crucial aspect of surviving these battles is mobility. Stay in one place and move only when a spark trail indicates an enemy is about to blitz your location. This approach helps prevent getting caught by multiple enemies at once. If you do get hit, try to dash perpendicular to the incoming projectiles – it may cost you a taunt phase, but it's a small price to pay for avoiding damage.

Signature Strategies

Each signature attack has its own unique pattern and requirements. Here are some tips for handling specific signatures:

* Itilas: Move to the side of the map and try to avoid taking damage. This can be challenging in practice, but with patience and attention to your surroundings, you should be able to make it through this phase.

* Ireiya: When she starts her attack, move slowly across one end of the room while avoiding the circles under your feet. Zeal requires staying in one place until a circle appears before dashing away from it.

General Tips

When facing each boss's signature (except for Sura), prioritize dodging over getting an extra hit in. Don't get cocky and try to attack during a pattern – keep just out of range to quickly escape if needed. Against bosses, memorize their patterns and count their attacks. Dash away from melee range when something's about to attack, and remember that ranged enemies can't lead their shots.

Summoners and Mages

Prioritize summoners and mages, particularly elemental versions, as well as any enemy that can't be stunned. Over time, you'll come to recognize room layouts and anticipate what enemies spawn where. Bouncing Surge is a personal favorite spell of mine, but ultimately, the best builds focus on improving one aspect – usually crit or signature.
